DESTILADERAS... UNE PLAGE PARADISIAQUE

Le 22 janvier 2013 marque la mi-temps de notre séjour au Mexique. On y a passé une journée ensoleillée - sans aucun nuage - sur une plage bien cachée de la route à Destiladeras à quelque 20 Km au nord de  Bucerias. Bien que cet endroit semble bien connu de nombre de villégiateurs de la région de Puerto Vallarta, c'était une première pour nous. La mer est bordée par une plage de sable fin qui s'enfonce en douceur dans l'eau. Voici une vue d'ensemble qui donne un aperçu de cette plage.

A favorite with many Vallartans, especially families and on Sundays, when they flock here to enjoy the wide white sand beach and fresh seafood at its outdoor palapa-shaded restaurants at the edge of the water. Alternately, the large flat rocks found here can be used as picnic tables. Surfers appreciate its two- to five-foot swells, while others enjoy strolling its several kilometers. And during the week you pretty much get the place to yourself. The timid and parents alike appreciate the gradual drop-off; you can wade a long way out into the water before it even reaches your waist. So this is a great beach for everyone and even the sunsets viewed from here seem special—probably because you're so wondrously relaxed at the end of a languorous day here.
